LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this activity, the learner should be able to:

• Identify individuals who are at average or increased risk for developing colorectal cancer
• Recommend appropriate screening strategies and intervals based on patient risk profiles
• Appreciate the benefits and limitations of the various screening methodologies and new technologies
• Incorporate proven strategies and systems into their practice environment to enhance cancer screening and follow-up of abnormal tests
