LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Management of Complications of Prostate Cancer Treatment

After completing this activity, the learner should be able to:

• Describe the adverse effects of radical prostatectomy (RP), external beam radiotherapy, brachytherapy, and androgen deprivation therapy (ADT).
• Discuss strategies for reducing the risk of these adverse effects.
• Discuss treatments for these adverse effects.

The ACS designates this educational activity for a maximum of one AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
