LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Screening and Surveillance for the Early Detection of Colorectal Cancer and Adenomatous Polyps, 2008: A Joint Guideline from the American Cancer Society, the US Multi-Society Task Force on Colorectal Cancer, and the American College of Radiology

After completing this activity, the learner should be able to:

•  List the testing options recommended for colorectal cancer screening and the intervals recommended for each test.
•  Discuss the advantages and limitations of each test.

The ACS designates this educational activity for a maximum of one AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
