LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Recent Progress in the Management of Advanced Renal Cell Carcinoma

After completing this activity, the learner should be able to:

•  Understand current treatment recommendations for advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC).
•  Review the roles of cytokine therapies and antiangiogenesis therapies for metastatic RCC.
•  Discuss some promising investigational approaches to targeted therapy of advanced RCC.

The ACS designates this educational activity for a maximum of one category 1 credit toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award.
