OBJECTIVES After reading the article Nutrition and Physical Activity During and After Cancer Treatment: An American Cancer Society Guide for Informed Choices, the learner should be able to:

• Recognize the special nutritional needs of cancer survivors during treatment.
• Advise cancer survivors about nutrition and physical activity during recovery and beyond, based on the best available current evidence.
• Discuss dietary and physical activity strategies that might affect cancer recurrences.
• Respond to questions from cancer survivors and families about use of nutritional supplements.

The ACS designates this educational activity for a maximum of one category 1 credit toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award.

This activity is approved for 1 AAFP Prescribed credit. Credit may be claimed for 1 year from the date of this issue. The physician should claim only those hours of credit that he or she actually spent in the educational activity. This quiz must be submitted online by November 1, 2007.
