OBJECTIVES After reading the article Lymphatic Mapping and Sentinel Node Analysis: Current Concepts and Applications, the learner should be able to:

•  Discuss the current indications, contraindications, and investigational applications of lymphatic mapping and sentinel node analysis.

•  Describe in general terms the principles and techniques used for sentinel node localization and analysis.

•  Discuss the staging and therapeutic implications of lymphatic mapping and sentinel node analysis.

The ACS designates this educational activity for a maximum of one category 1 credit toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award.

This activity is approved for 1 AAFP Prescribed credit. Credit may be claimed for 1 year from the date of this issue. The physician should claim only those hours of credit that he or she actually spent in the educational activity. This quiz must be submitted online by September 1, 2007.
