OBJECTIVES After reading the article Staging Soft Tissue Sarcoma: Evolution and Change, the learner should be able to:

•  Understand the importance, as well as the limitations, of using the AJCC TNM system to stage soft tissue sarcomas.

•  Describe the TNM staging system for soft tissue sarcomas and understand the rationale behind the various staging categories.

•  Discuss the importance of supplementing the TNM staging system with additional prognostic information.

The ACS designates this educational activity for a maximum of one category 1 credit toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award.

This activity is approved for 1 AAFP Prescribed credit. Credit may be claimed for 1 year from the date of this issue. The physician should claim only those hours of credit that he or she actually spent in the educational activity. This quiz must be submitted online by September 1, 2007.
