OBJECTIVES After reading the article Diagnostic Approach and Management of Lynch Syndrome (hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal carcinoma): A Guide for Clinicians, the learner should be able to:
List the techniques currently recommended for detecting the molecular changes responsible for Lynch syndrome.
Explain the molecular reasoning supporting the diagnostic algorithms in this article.
Discuss the clinical management of individuals with Lynch syndrome.
The ACS designates this educational activity for a maximum of one category 1 credit toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award.
