OBJECTIVES After reading the article, Targeting Apoptosis Pathways in Cancer Treatment, the learner should be able to:

•  Understand the pathways involved in cellular apoptosis and some of the key molecules that regulate them.

•  Discuss some of the therapeutic agents now under development that target molecules affecting apoptosis.

The ACS designates this educational activity for a maximum of one category 1 credit toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award.
